My angel's favorite color is yellow

I'm thinking about you, princess! We had some really good talks today. You get a BIG sticker for being good and drinking your Gatorade, honey. I know you only did it for me, but you know how it works -- love means taking care of yourself is taking care of me. :)

I did a little grocery shopping for some goodies, including some very tasty ice cream. If your throat still feels scratchy, have you thought about having some ice cream?

Take care, little girl. Lots of sleep, sipping to stay hydrated, and lots of love.

Sleep well, princess.

I admire you so much, princess. Get well soon!

Someone was good today..

Good girl!!

Daddy gave you two jobs, and you're right on schedule, princess; one more to go, then you're all ready for a nice trip. Don't forget, little baby.

My tiny girl drew this!!

Little girls are stronger than they look!

My loving little girl, we have had such a busy week! You, especially, have had some awfully tough days with work and some other issues. Some days you didn't have time to eat a thing! But my little girl meant too, right? I know you did. Until we make your real sticker book together this weekend, here are eight regular stickers to catch you up, and a small sticker for the juice you had this morning. What a good, good girl you are.

I can't wait to talk tomorrow morning!

Love,

Daddy

Good night, princess

We've been lucky lately, talking lots. You're already getting in the holiday spirit, which is so fun!

I loved your picture. We'll do lots of coloring, sweetie! Will you post it here, or can I?

You got a sticker today for letting go on time, didn't you -- a little one? I think so, honey. That's a habit worth encouraging, isn't it?

Sleep tight, little girl. You're so precious.. I can't wait to cuddle my baby.

Friday-Sunday

My little girl's goodness knows no bounds!

Sunday you had THREE meals (which gets a BIG sticker!), on Friday and Saturday you ate twice, and on two days, you filled your 500 mL bottle with juice, which is a wonderful trick for being good, isn't it?? I'm so proud of you for doing that, honey! Two servings of juice each day! And it's cheaper and better than the juice at work, you said.

I hope to hear lots more about that 500 mL bottle, and that big sticker is no small thing either, little girl -- you know Daddy's hug will lift you up off the ground! I love you, sweetie.. here are your stickers!

Huzzah for new games!

Sweetie, I found a new game we can play. It's kind of like our other talky games. I think you'll like it lots! Be sure to remind me about it though, ok? ;)

Thank you for buying Peach Passion juice! I think you get two small stickers for yesterday's (Wednesday's) 500 mL of juice and a regular sticker for eating twice today!

Yours, Daddy

My babygirl is having a nice day :)

Honey, I liked hearing about how you played today, and I'm glad you found so many nice stickers for us! And, you ate twice, so here is a very nice sticker for you:

I'm looking forward to stories and games soon!

Loooooooove,

Hi sweetie :D

Daddy is tired but happy -- I got TONS done at done today, which really takes the pressure off for the rest of the month. I feel relieved!

Now I'm home, and look at this doormat I found! We should get one just like it for the bathroom. :D

Goodnight, sweet baby

Of course you can go to bed, and of course you can have your story tomorrow. We both had hard Mondays, and I don't want my baby struggling to stay awake. Your body knows best; have a quick wash and then get to your blankets, princess. I don't even want you to stop to take vitamins.

We shared a real bright spot in the day, though: our talk this afternoon, when we played games -- and had some fun -- after you posted your super nice message. It was great. And since we're busy tomorrow, you're thinking the right way when you say how sweet it'll be on Wednesday! Good night, little girl. Daddy almost fell asleep just now, when he stopped typing and somehow closed his eyes to think about washing and dressing his sleepy girl for bed..

Night night, honey. Love, peace and contentment.

Weekend stickers, princess!

You're so sweet, baby! Thank you for the Ariel sticker -- I know she's your favorite. (Oh, you're wearing Ariel panties today, aren't you?) Sometimes your sweetness makes it a little hard to be strict with you. (I said A LITTLE.. go on, try me! Didn't you once call me her crab friend when you were mad at me?? What's his name again?)

Let's see, Daddy knows he owes you some stickers. I know you ate twice on Saturday and Sunday, and you had juice this morning. So, that's two regular and one small sticker!

And when we talk, I will ask you about your second meal today. I liked your breakfast, especially because you had 12 oz of juice. Remember, 8 ounces is about 240 mL. Did you remember to drink 4 more ounces (120 mL) so I could give you another small sticker? How about your vitamins? The potatoes you had (skin included) are also terrific! Good job, honey!!!

Angel,

I just put you to bed, and I'm now so tired myself I can only write a little. Today you did get another small sticker -- pretty early, too! You got it for telling daddy what you needed, and we put you in diapers. You felt sooo much better, didn't you?

It's true that daddy often knows exactly what you need, sometimes even before you do! But it's also true that daddy needs to hear what's in his angel's little head, and if there's something you need that daddy didn't think of, you're so brave and good for saying what it is! THAT gets a sticker, you brave girl! My baby is rewarded for not letting shyness hold her back.

You're a wonderful, amazing, precious little girl, and I hope your rest is just as heavenly. My love is warming you, honey, and keeping you safe. My last thought as I go to sleep will be your tiny body snuggled up against my chest, with my arm protectively covering you.

Love,
Daddy

Hee hee!

Good for you, honey, having that late night happy meal! Daddy couldn't be prouder. Putting you to bed was even better, knowing you had eaten three times and taken your vitamins that day! Wow - could a little girl be more good than that???

Love my baby!!!

Sticker update!!

On Thursday my baby ate twice, and today, Friday, you took your vitamins, and then you ate three times!! I've decided that when you eat three times in one day, you get a big sticker. Here are you regular, small, and big stickers:

I am SO PROUD of you, sweetie, deep-down proud. You know Daddy loves you no matter what, but you get an extra-big hug that lasts a LONG time for being so good today. And since you don't remember your third story last night, you can use it again -- you earned all those stickers yourself, princess. You're going to be a strong and healthy girl!

All of my love, Daddy

My sleepy baby!

You were so sweet last night, honey, falling asleep as I read "Goodnight Moon". Because of all your stickers, you got to have three stories last night, didn't you?

I think your favorite was "The Sneetches".. but I think now my favorite is "Goodnight Moon". I'm so happy thinking about you sleeping peacefully.

Love, love, love.

Rules Reminder

Did you have a question about the rules, honey? Here they are:

  • Good girls are modest.
  • You can help, but Daddy decides what you wear.
  • Ask before you go. (Daddy needs to know when you'll need changing.)
  • Don't leave my sight in stores, the mall, or anywhere.
  • No diapers without Daddy.

  • Do you think some of these rules might be more ok than others to break, honey?

Did you guess "yes"? The answer is No. You never break these rules -- any of them. I was thinking about #6 on the way home today. Of all the rules here, it's the only one that could be broken by mistake, but your safety is so important, honey. You'd get your punishment before a weekend, to have time for your bottom to recover. I know you'd always stay very close to Daddy after that. For the others, I know you're an obedient little girl. I know you'll be good.

    Love, Daddy

Sticker update for Wenesday and some of Thursday

On Wednesday, my baby did eat twice! You ate over half of all of your meals, which is the requirement. Eating when you're hungry is more important than eating lots, so remember, if you eat two good snacks at different times, it counts as a meal, ok? To do that, honey, you need to plan ahead and have some snacks ready. The most important time is when you shop: get all the snacks you think you might want sometime, so you can just throw them in your bag when you want them! Later, we'll keep snacks in our diaper bag. :)

For Wednesday, eating twice, one regular sticker:

And for Thursday (today) so far, you've had a BIG juice (counts as two servings), and a certain horrible, mean Daddy made you take your vitamins, so you get three small stickers!

So if we looked at your WHOLE book right now, here's what it would look like:

Good job, baby girl! I sure hope you remember to eat again today so you can get another regular sticker: another Tinkerbell, or maybe a bigger pumpkin. Also, I loved putting you to bed last night with your first extra "my choice" story. Reading two stories is nice, isn't it? I know you said you wanted to use BOTH your extra stories tonight (now that you are up to the equivalent of 6 regular stickers), but I wonder if my little girl can stay awake through three stories!

A great start to my baby's sticker book!

Hi honey! You've been so good lately that you're already up to two BIG stickers and THREE small ones.

You made me so happy when you ordered a banana split after a fried chicken meal, and you ate just as much the next day. You were so hungry! So, instead of the regular stickers you'd get for eating twice in one day, you got a big one for each day!

You also took your vitamins one day and you drank juice twice. Juice and vitamins count extra, you know. That's three little stickers.

Just so you remember: 4 little stickers = 1 regular sticker, and a big sticker is worth 2 regular stickers. Here's your book so far, baby:

If you eat your dinner tonight, you'll get a regular sticker, too:

We'll add lots more fun stickers, ok baby? Also, so you can count, think about these ideas for things you get.

After every sticker: a BIG hug and kiss and lots of praise. :)
After every 2 stickers: Daddy will read you an extra bedtime story.
After every 3 stickers: you can choose the movie without asking Daddy.
After 10 stickers: You choose our next board game or craft project 100% by yourself.
After 20 stickers: We'll go to a national park past your bedtime to look at the stars.
After 30 stickers: A 100% little girl day at an amusement park, all in diapers.
After 50 stickers: Daddy will take you to a special zoo where you can touch a tiger!

Do you have any ideas? Maybe soon we'll talk about the other ways you can get stickers, too. ;)

    I LOVE YOU!

    Daddy
